Season XXI WPT Prime & WPT Main Tour Festivals

WPT Player of the Festival points are awarded based on two variables, the total prize pool of each eligible event and the buy-in category. The buy-in categories include a number of buy-in brackets, for example USD$500 to $999, and separate categories for WPTDS/Prime Main Events & Main Tour Main Events.

The winner of the WPT Player of the Festival award will be the player who earns the most POF points during the period comprising such WPT Festival. In the event of a tie on points, the following tiebreaking system will apply (only move to the next numbered tiebreaker if players tying are still equal):

1st tiebreaker - Most Titles
2nd tiebreaker - Most Final Tables*
3rd tiebreaker - Most In The Points
4th tiebreaker - Most $ Won*
* Only applies to "results in the points"

4th tiebreaker notes - In the event a jurisdiction/casino allows deal making, then the individual cashes as listed by the venue will be shown on WPT channels and distribution networks. If the jurisdiction/casino does not allow deal making, then individual cashes will be shown as per the official prize pool on WPT channels and distribution networks. The date used to determine the USD exchange rate for certain non USD POF events is the closing exchange rate for the first day of the festival as per Wall Street Journal website https://www.wsj.com/market-data/currencies/exchangerates

To receive points as per the POF points schedule, the event must have a minimum 10 entries and a player must be In The Money.

Invitational, Teams and events with restrictions for age, sex or other reasons are not considered Eligible Events and thus will not count towards Player of the Festival Points.

Points for events such as Heads Up where for example, 4 players are eliminated from the last 8, will be averaged out according to the total of 5th to 8th place points.

Any tournament added after the commencement of the festival is not eligible for POF points.

In the event of a deal, WPT reserves the right to revert POF points to the originally assigned totals (pre-deal) in the event that the deal unfairly alters a player’s position in the POF standings.

Australian, Canadian & European Events will use AUD/CAD/EUR respectively for buy-ins and prizepool brackets.

Season XXI POF WPT Passports may be redeemed until the later of December 31, 2023 OR three months from the date of issue. A minimum of three weeks notice is required.
