Tournament Rules
Action Clock:
The Action Clock will be put into play on Day 1 at the conclusion of level 12 or at the tournament directors’ discretion. Each player will receive five (5) time extensions when the Action Clock is put into play. Each player will
receive five (5) additional time extension chips on the first scheduled break of Day 2. Each player will receive five (5) additional time extension chips when nine (9) players remain. See Action Clock rules for details.
Breaks:
15-minute break every 3 levels of play.
60-minute break after level 9 (approximately 5:30 p.m.).
Levels, Per Day:
Day 1: 40 minutes per level until 12.5% or less of the field remains.
Day 2: 40 minutes per level until a winner is declared.
Payouts:
Each Day 1 will play until 12.5% or less of the field remains. At the beginning of Day 2, the Tournament clock will resume at the earliest finishing time at which play ended on Day 1. Only players who advance to Day 2 will be considered “in the money”. The Tournament prize pool will be calculated at the conclusion of Day 1, and will be based on the number of players who advance to Day 2.
Registration & Re-Entry Rules:
Unlimited re-entry will be available until the start of level 10 (approximately 6:30 p.m.).
