Watch Out, Tyler Smith Has the Button

As the dealer deals the next hand, Tyler Smith tells his tablemates, "Good luck everyone.  I have the button."

Action folds around to Smith on the button and it looks like he might fold.  He reaches for his cards and starts to move them towards the muck, then smirks and raises to 800 instead.  The player in the small blind calls, as does the player in the big blind.

The flop comes [KdQc8h] and the player in the big blind bets 1,600. The player in the big blind folds and Smith calls.  The turn is the [9c] and the player in the small blind checks.  Smith bets 3,400 and his opponent calls.  The river is the [7s] and Smith’s opponent checks again.  Smith bets 7,775 and the other player calls.

Smith rolls over [Qh9d] for two pair, queens and nines.  The other player mucks and Smith takes the pot.
