HAND #133  –  Sheng Ye moves all in, and Ben Richardson calls all in for about 7,000,000 with Diamond ADiamond 5.

Ye turns over Diamond QHeart 2, and Richardson needs his hand to hold to stay alive.

The board comes Diamond JSpade 6Club 5Heart QClub 8, and Richardson pairs his five on the flop, but Ye spikes a queen on the turn to win the pot — and the WPT Prime title — with a pair of queens.

Ben Richardson finishes as the runner-up, earning AUD $238,978.

Sheng Ye wins WPT Prime Gold Coast, earning AUD $374,953 and a coveted WPT Prime trophy. Ye’s prize includes an AUD $16,500 package to play in the season-ending WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas.
