Anthony Khalil has been talking up a storm for the entire day as he increases the stack left and right. One particular hand stood out as he “threatened” his opponents to move all-in preflop if they dared to attack his blinds. That’s exactly what unfolded, but it came with a special twist.
“If you raise my big blind, I gonna shove all-in”, Anthony Khalil declares before the cards are dealt and there is then a limp right next to him by Dong He followed by a raise to 6,000. Joshua McSwiney calls the raise and it folds to Khalil in the big blind who jokingly says “wake me up with something”. He then checks the cards and indeed pushes all-in as promised.
The limper folds and the raiser calls all-in for around 70,000, McSwiney folds.

and the rich get richer.
This spectacular momentum cemented the chip lead for Khalil at the time and despite suffering some smaller setbacks at the end, he bagged up 609,000 in chips for one of the top stacks of Day 1b to make this our Gold Hand of the Day.
