The fourth and final flight of the $1,150 WPT Prime at Playground begins today at 12:00 local time. The $800,000 guarantee set on this event has already been passed with the 845 entrants that have played the first three flights.
Yesterday’s flight saw the biggest field yet as 358 entrants occupied the seats all around Playground and, with over 100 entrants registered before the first card is dealt, this flight is on track to be the biggest flight yet.
Day 1A chip leader Kevin Rivest (960,000) still leads the field into Day 2, but among his competitors are recently crowned WPT 500 Playground champion Travis Macmillan (619,000) who looks to continue his successful week here.
Players will begin the day with 40,000 in chips with blinds escalating every 40-minutes. After every three levels there will be a 15-minute break until Level 9 where the players will go on a 45-minute dinner break. Registration will close at the beginning of Level 10 as players will play until just 12.5% remain. Each one of the players will be guaranteed in the money at that point and join the survivors from the prior flights.
