Amateur David DeBoer Bests Tough Field To Win WPT Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Regional

Recreational player David DeBoer took down the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Regional in an exciting fashion. Going into heads-up he asked his oppoenent Peter Walsworth, a very experienced player, if he wanted to chop, but Peter declined.

So, they played it out.

There was one big hand where Peter lost the chip lead and shortly after that David defeated Peter with pocket aces taking home the first prize of $128,000. Peter Walsworth walked away with $74,000 for his 2nd place finish.
