Stylianos Papatoniou Leads The 46 of Day 1D in Prime Cyprus

The biggest flight of the WPT Prime Cyprus all materialized today in 1D with 362 entrants filling the seats. The $1,000,000 prize pool guarantee was passed at around the half way point of this flight’s registration period. A grand total of 1,391 entrants have been collected for this tournament, with the prize pool to be played for on Day 2. 

Leading the way by a hair is Stylianos Papatoniou (982,000) who sits just half a blind above his nearest competitor Clyde Ramunas (978,000). They will be sitting as some of the few stacks so far to cross the 900k threshold for the beginning of Day 2. 

Play ended in Level 17 but no earlier than the first flight’s finish time, meaning that this will be the level where the players will return to on Day 2 tomorrow at 1:00 PM. 25 players are set to bag up in Day 1e, looking to end later tonight.
