Day 1B of the WPT Prime Championship attracted 1,739 entries, and 217 players (~12.5% of the field) bagged up chips for Day 2. This combined with the earlier flight’s number brings the overall total to 3,003 entrants. The big stack belongs to James Morgan, who sits with 1,369,000 (136 big blinds).

Defending WPT Prime Champion Calvin Anderson (510,000) found his way to a bag after spending part of the day next to WPT World Champion Dan Sepiol. Sepiol was unable to find a bag and will be back today to try once more.

Day 1C (the second of four starting days) begins today at 11:00 am. The buy-in is $1,100, and the prizepool is guaranteed to be worth at least $5 million.

Each starting flight will play as many 40-minute levels as it takes to reach the final 12.5% of each field, which will also be the Money Bubble. So everyone who bags chips for Day 2 will be in the money. There will be a 75-minute dinner break after Level 9 (about 5:30 pm), and registration remains open with a single re-entry option until the end of the dinner break (about 6:45 pm). Players are allowed one entry and one re-entry on each starting flight (maximum of eight entries).
