Paul Deric Shoves the River in a Three-Way Pot, Clock Is Called Twice

With the final board showing and roughly 70K already in the pot, Paul Deric (pictured) checks the small blind, and Aziz Smati bets 15,000 from the big blind. Ludovic Sultan calls from the hijack, and Deric check-raises all in for 108,500.

Smati thinks for a while before somebody calls for the clock, and he eventually folds. Now it’s Sultan’s turn to tank, and he also gets a clock called on him. As the final 10 seconds count down, Sultan folds, and Deric takes the pot.

Deric allows Sultan to choose one of his cards to be revealed. Sultan points to a card, and it’s flipped over — the , good for a possible flush, a possible straight, or a possible bluff.
