With Piet Bakker finishing top of the pile on yesterday’s Day 1a, today will see players have a last chance at making it through a Day 1 to reach Day 2 of the WPT Amsterdam Main Event in the glorious Holland Casino here in central Amsterdam.
With 52 players already into Day 2 from yesterday’s fantastic day’s play, including Tony Dunst (100,700), Joep van den Bijgaart (159,300), Clyde Tjauw Foe (101,600) and Charles Chattha (56,700)
Farid Yachou, last year’s winner, was unable to make it through the field yesterday, but we may see him back today as players are allowed to re-enter on a different day. Noah Boeken, Chino Rheem and Felipe Ramos will also have to try again if they want to make it to Day 2 this year.
We can’t wait for action to begin on Day 1b of the WPT Amsterdam Main Event. Play starts at 2:00 p.m. local time!
