Tim McCarthy Wins WPTDeepStacks Chicagoland Main Event for $57,496 !

Tim McCarthy is the newest WPTDeepStacks Champion! On the final hand McCarthy limped the button and Gary Boggs quickly raises to 280,000. McCarthy leans forward in his seat and verbally announces a raise to 600,000. Boggs moves all in and McCarthy snap calls. McCarthy jumps out of his seat and slams down . Boggs smiles and tables . The flop falls  and McCarthy is still way ahead, just needing to dodge an eight to take down the title. The turn brings the  maintains the lead for McCarthy and the  river locks up his position as the newest WPTDeepStacks Champion.
Boggs will take home $40,342 for his second place finish here at Majestic Star.

McCarthy will take home $57,496 along with a $3,000 package to our $500,000 guaranteed championship event later this year in Canada.
