Daniel Arsham and World Poker Tour® Unveil Exclusive Poker Set Limited to Just 100 Collectible Pieces Worldwide

Los Angeles, CA (Feb. 10,2025) — The World Poker Tour® (WPT®) and artist Daniel Arsham are proud to announce the launch of a limited-edition poker chip set that merges high-stakes poker and modern art in an exclusive collector’s piece. Available in a worldwide limited run of just 100 sets, each priced at $5,000, sales will begin on February 14th, offering an elite opportunity for collectors and poker enthusiasts to own a piece of functional art. The WPT Arsham Poker Set is anticipated to be one of the most sought-after collector’s items this year, representing a unique blend of artistry, exclusivity, and refined design.

This exclusive collaboration between WPT and Arsham reimagines iconic Arsham motifs through the lens of poker. The WPT Arsham Poker Set is encased in a custom-designed anodized aluminum case by Arsham Studio, embodying Arsham’s “future relic” aesthetic. The set includes 350 ceramic poker chips, two original decks of linen cards, an anodized aluminum dealer button, and a Certificate of Authenticity, ensuring both quality and authenticity.

A Collaboration Between Icons
The collaboration is a fusion of two globally recognized names: World Poker Tour; the premier brand in televised and digital poker, and Daniel Arsham, celebrated worldwide for his innovative approach to art. Over 22 seasons, WPT has awarded over $1.35 billion in prize money and continues to shape the competitive poker world with its pioneering approach to broadcasting and digital engagement.

“Partnering with Daniel has allowed for some truly unprecedented moments and pieces over the past couple years,” said WPT CEO Adam Pliska. “And now, through Daniel’s visionary artistry, we are proud to release an elegantly designed poker chip set that can be obtained by art and poker enthusiasts from across the globe.”

A Visionary Inspiration
For this collection, Arsham draws inspiration from poker’s timeless appeal and the aesthetic of classic gaming, reinterpreting these elements through his own lens of fictional archaeology. The result is a poker set that enhances the gaming experience while serving as a statement piece reflecting the legacy and sophistication of the game.

“The collaboration was an opportunity to push the boundaries of a traditional poker set,” says Arsham. “Through materials, texture, and form, I wanted each element to evoke a sense of refinement and permanence, a testament to the culture and energy of the poker world.”

The WPT Arsham Poker Set is more than a poker accessory; it’s a collectible that brings Arsham’s iconic style into the homes of art collectors and poker enthusiasts alike. As WPT’s first foray into the realm of artful, luxury collectibles, this limited edition marks a milestone in both the art and gaming industries.

About Daniel Arsham:
Daniel Arsham is a New York based artist whose practice spans fine art, architecture, performance, and film. Arsham’s iconic works meld the past, present and future, showcasing the malleability and power of nostalgia, often through references to moments of the late 20th century. Eroded casts of modern artifacts and contemporary human figures, his works are crafted out of geological material such as sand, selenite and volcanic ash. These materials allow for the appearance and aesthetic of erosion or archeological, future relics, as Arsham has dubbed them.
